These alternative seating options will really help my students attend and learn! They have trouble sitting still and tend to fidget in their seats. They can't help this; they are not trying to be disruptive, but they may end up disrupting the class and getting disciplined. Having options for seating, besides traditional chairs, will help the children attend and decrease disruptive behavior. I plan to offer a variety of seating in the classrooms where my students are placed. My hope is to make it easier for the teachers to teach and for the students to learn, listen, and attend to the teacher.
