Students often come to me when they need a break or help with a problem. These items will help with sensory needs and allow them to work through problems and learn more skills by activating large muscle groups in an environment still conducive to learning. The alternative seating choices will allow the students to focus on their problem while working core muscles. These items help students focus because they are engaging large muscle groups. If a student is upset who loves to fidget, the seating choices will allow for that fidgeting while working through problems. By allowing the choices, the students can gain some control and be more willing to come up with alternative solutions.

About my class
