My students can access the easy reading books, bilingual picture dictionaries, and the technology equipment easier and quicker when we have it available in the classroom. The visual pictures will help my students comprehend the vocabulary words in English better when they can relate the words to the pictures and will be able to make a meaningful connection on the information. It's very important for students to be able to have ownership of their own learning and make connections about what they are learning and why they are learning it. The listening technology will allow my students the opportunity to practice their listening/speaking skills and recording themselves speaking English, so they can improve. Furthermore, having the proper equipment, and resources available in the classroom will help to save us time and students will really benefit from this. The donations to this project will help to improve my students' skills and understanding English in the areas of Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing. LEARNING will be MEANINGFUL and INSPIRING to my students when they are able to comprehend what is in print!
