Many of my students are non readers, they never read on their own. By supplying books in a classroom library, they will have access to many different books and will have greater access to reading materials. Seeing other students reading, and recommending books is great inspiration. The books will be used for student to check out and read on their own just like a regular library. One way we share books is through and book conferences, and book clubs. The more choices that students have, the more likely they will develop a love for reading. These books will enable students to make connections with reading and hopefully develop a new relationship with reading.
