Teaching and learning have always been my passion. Teachers are life long learners and keeping my teaching and lessons fresh and innovative is always my goal. I thrive from learning and sharing with colleagues and professionals and look forward to bringing back the information and tools that I have learned with my colleagues. Children learn by doing and by example . When their teacher is excited to learn, it makes children excited to learn. The conference I will be attending will allow me to refresh reading and writing instructional practices and learn new ones which are all directly aligned to Common Core Standards. It will allow me to increase student engagement and rigor. I look forward to explore instructional and research based strategies that will enable my students to become lifelong learners.
