This school year has so much uncertainty with the challenge of teaching our students during a Pandemic. On top of this challenge, $4 million dollars has been cut from my district's yearly budget. This cut effected money for basic school supplies. Teaching in an area that is comprised of mostly low-income families, teachers counted on this budget to provide the basic supplies for the students. Many families cannot afford to provide these basics. My goal is to give each student crayons, pencils, erasers, scissors, glue, dry erase markers and whiteboards to use for in-person or distance learning. I would also like to continue my work on individualized teaching and learning. Therefore, I would like to purchase both on-line and printable activities that could be used to help students work on their learning goals.
