The Cricut cutting machine and accessories will be used in my fine arts classroom to explore more creative possibilities in student artwork. Infusing art and STEM concepts and process into my curriculum will enhance our growing program at our high school. My courses include art foundations and clay building, where using a Cricut can create outstanding outcomes. Students will have the ability to create their own designs on a computer, have the machine cut them out, and then they can use them to create 2D and 3D artwork. Shapes, stencils, and text can be used in drawing, painting, printmaking, and clay building. The possibilities are endless!
