Implementing technology in the primary grades can be so difficult. It is hard to figure out where to begin, let alone how to effectively put it to use. I am excited by the opportunity to attend the CUE Conference where I can learn how other educators and professionals utilize technology in their primary classrooms to better teach vital 21st century skills. I work in a school where students are primarily low-income. Due to this fact, I feel an immense responsibility for teaching students computer and problem solving skills at school since their home access is so limited. Technology skills are now viewed as essentials for future careers and it is important that title one students have just as much access to quality instruction as any other student at any other school.

About my class
