The texts we read are stimulating, however, the majority of my students have a difficult time understanding the content because of the language. Graphic Novels will help all of my students have a better understanding of the messages, teachings, and plot of the plays & epics in a way that is engaging. Graphic Novels can help students visualize what is going on in the plot, while still helping them understand the text. The laminator and sheets are imperative in my class, because we aren't allowed to hang up any student work unless they are laminated (due to fire hazards). Students love to see their work up in class to help them feel welcome, and it gives them a sense of ownership in the classroom. They create so many diverse pieces of art to go along with the texts we read, that it will help make the students feel like their work is being valued and displayed for others to see.
