My project is pretty simple: I just need books. Nonfiction books, to be exact. I want to expand my nonfiction collection to give my Honors Research and Writing students a more diverse selection for their mini book clubs. Their reading selection will then be a springboard for a research paper based on an aspect or topic from the book. I have included books that will not only add diversity to my existing collection, but will also appeal to high school students. I have read many of these books and researched the rest, so I am confident they will be appropriate for my students and will give them a view into parts of our world they may not be familiar with.

About my class
