Students with special needs all deserve the same opportunity to access their curriculum. The classroom materials - highlighters, pens, file boxes, giant post it notes - all are items we go through quickly. Kids use these for various support in reading and writing. The iPads and Amazon Fire notebooks, as well as their cases, will be used to help students access their own curriculum, as well as supportive intervention materials and various apps to assist in reading, writing, and math. My program allows me to service both general education students and special education students, alike. We rotate groups based on data, every 6-8 weeks and are able to reach more students with this unique approach to inclusion.
