Academic environments are being constantly transformed by the influence of technology. We are educating new generations were pen and paper, although still valuable and necessary tools, now must be supplemented with digital tools. My students, as part of the Bilingual population, must take an additional assessment to evaluate their literacy and speech abilities. An iPad provides access to many apps that support both their Bilingual and academic needs. Any project can be turned into an speech practice opportunity where students can record themselves, save the file, and keep track of their own individual academic progress. By supporting our project, you will help my students develop their academic and speech skills in math, reading, and writing through technology. We build our students future today, and what a better way to do it but by enhancing their school experience with the right tools. Technology is becoming a second nature in our classrooms and this is a great opportunity to teach students the multiple positive uses of it.
