The funding of this project will equip our students with the techniques and tools that they need in order to cope with the many challenges that they encounter throughout the year. The stress balls and fidget toys will assist students who struggle with self regulating their behavior. Writing journals and inspirational color books will allow students to appropriately communicate their feelings in a constructive way. The board games and activities will be used during small group counseling sessions that reinforce appropriate social skills. During Red Ribbon Week, students will make a pledge to refrain from participating in alcohol and drug use.
