Our Spanish language classroom is filled with opportunities to read, explore, listen, speak and create! My students need a station to listen to music, videos, and other content to learn to understand the language and to record themselves practicing Spanish. Headphones will provide students listening stations to more deeply interact with the language and create their own recordings for projects and presentations. The leveled Scholastic magazines provide students with current, exciting news to read about along with related audio/video activities. Students will utilize these along with the flexible seating to comfortably collaborate with each other and record themselves for projects and individual practice. For example, some students will be able to record a fashion show for a unit on clothing and shopping. Afterwards, they can record voice-over narration using the headphones. My students will love creating with these materials!
