We would love to start a STEAM lab in our grade level Mod to give our kiddos more experiences with STEAM activities. We will be able to go to the lab in order to learn about building, movement, force and motion, addition, counting, as well as many other applications. The use of the STEAM Lab will help with our students creativity, problem solving skills, collaborative skills, higher order thinking and communication skills. Students will use IO blocks to learn to use their problem solving skills to build particular types of edifices according to building cards that we will create. Brain flakes and Magna Blocks will be used to create letters and numbers. Building straws will be used to create large projects in collaboration with the other items that we have asked for. All of these resources and materials will be used to expand our students' creativity and collaborative skills.
