I am blessed this year to teach 24 positive, hard-working, and energetic students this year! My students are excited about learning, but struggle with their reading comprehension. Many of my students this year read significantly below grade level and need a little extra push to help them succeed. My students attend a high-poverty school and almost all of them receive free or reduced-price lunch. My students attend a magnetic program at a math, science, and technology school, but basic reading comprehension skills stand in the way of their success.
