With the requested iPad, my students will be able to complete more student-based learning activities. Having relevant technology will help them use the material they need to make instructional gains. My students will learn to apply a lot of math problem solving skills and apply higher order techniques to comprehension questions at their level without feeling like they are falling behind. This iPad will be able to prepare them with lifelong math skills while working with a peer. Having technology in math class will make it so much easier to get more engaging activities into the classroom rotation. Previously my centers were just hand cut or copy paper (which does not hold up year to year). The iPad will make math class more student friendly, relevant, and engaging. My goal is to have my students excited about learning because it is fun, focused and relevant in a fast paced technology driven world.
