Computers are always exciting and fun. They can enhance learning in many ways. Computing capability is an essential skill for life and enables students to participate more readily in a rapidly changing world. Coding is becoming such a imperative in this generation for the 21st century technical challenges. Providing the students with python computer science skills will enhance their futures. This opportunity will give me the chance to be more developed in python and give the students the opportunity to learn a new language. I am asking for funding to be able to travel to Rhode Island for a professional development through Pathfinders for Python training. This trip will help me grow professionally by giving me the continuous knowledge on a new concept in the computer science world. I will be bringing this training on python back to Las Vegas to teach the students, in a low income area that have little to no resources, the importance of python in robotics and how they are able to use it in the real world. I want to show them that their possibilities are endless.
