Students will be able to use the science materials we already have such as magnets and natural materials on the table as well as the light table accessories on my wish list. The light table will heighten student interest in the science center ans help students stay engaged for longer periods of time. These materials will make a different in my students learning by creating a science area that sparks exploration and science inquiry skills. It also promotes pre-writing skills, hand eye coordination and fine motor skills. The light table will heighten interest in the science center but it will also help students stay engaged for longer periods of time. The light table allows students to view materials and natural items in a whole new way!
