Currently, in my classroom I have two very old (1999) desktop computers which at times are hard to use. We have a Chromebook cart (shared between 3 classes) that is leaving at the end of the year because they can no longer be updated. We are losing our only pieces of technology we have for our third grade students. Technology is so important to third grade because for one it is the first year we are taking State Standardized tests and they need as much exposure to typing and searching and learning on computers as possible. This project will be helping our class have more computers every day of the week inside of our classroom.
