We are an Early College and no longer have the extra available funding for technology. Most EOCs and state tests use Desmos.com an amazing free online calculator. For the first time our school will be offering AP Calculus! I have taught it in the past at another school and am excited about this opportunity. While at the school, we had the extra funds to purchase more technology or calculators, however unfortunately the district I work in does not have the generous fund to provide students with the technology that will bridge the educational divide with those schools and districts that have more funding/funds. We currently are using TI-83s which do not have the calculating capacity sufficient to help the students be successful.

About my class
