We use daily programs like Lexia, Studies Weekly, Epic ex. Programs like these require my students to have earphones. Earphone use is extremely important during center time. During this time, it is essential for myself and IA to be able to hear our students and deliver our lesson without the noise and distraction of the iPads. Center time is a extremely important time during the school day where I can work with my students in small group and aggressively monitor their progress. Having reliable earphones allows me to become more present within my reading group. Earphones also help keep my students fully engaged and present. It will also help me with managing interruptions from my iPads centers and allow for maximum time with my reading group.
