All students learn best when they are creating and making. Students working to acquire an additional language are no different! These materials will help our Dual Language students create bilingual books and projects for authentic audiences. They will design and engineer bilingual projects in Science and will share their opinions and critical perspectives in Social Studies in Spanish and English. These materials will help support teaching around the six principles of Connected Learning: interest-powered, peer-supported, production-centered, openly-networked, academically-oriented, and shared purpose. Multilingual students who are preparing for a multicultural, global future deserve access to student-centered, project-based learning! We can't wait to get messy with our multilingual, intelligent minds and share our thinking with the world!
