My students are very talented and need opportunities to practice and showcase their written and visual voice. They will be creating portfolios of their creative expressions with illustrations. They have been practicing writing poetry and are ready to start creating their own books. My students will be using these resources to write books, complete with original illustrations in pencil and watercolors that they will be able to use for their educational portfolio. Students will also be creating works of art they will be able to frame, take home and show their families. This will help to build my students' confidence in the many ways they can express their understanding, passions, and dreams.
