The materials in this project include math and literacy tools such as dice, math learning games, and non-fiction books that will be used to enhance the core curriculum for our advanced learning students. Additionally, having a carpet split into specific seating spots will help students be attentive and focused during the whole-group portion of lessons. Plus, this vibrant carpet will be able to be used a learning tool based on the shapes and colors within it, while also 'beautifying' our learning environment--a win-win! With these new math and literacy tools, students will be able to extend their classroom learning while working with me on enrichment activities beyond the core curriculum, enabling me to help develop the potential in our advanced learners--and help make learning fun and curiosity-invoking! Whether working on a new math concept game for number operations and functions or having access to non-fiction texts that are beyond grade-level books, the various resources in this project will become invaluable tools on our quest to keep learning!
