My project offers flexible seating in my classroom that will allow for fewer distractions and minimal redirecting of off-task students. Wobbling around or stretching legs out on the ground are much better ways for students to get their bodies moving versus making distracting noises with pencils, scissors, or voices. Sometimes, all it takes is just one simple change to create a huge impact on a child. Students who are able to worry less about being fidgety and more about the topic are mountains ahead of others. What works for some does not work for all! A little goes a long way!
