My students will benefit from selecting their own seats based on their needs. If they choose to sit on the floor, in a rocking chair, sofa, or recliner, whatever the seat this will allow them to be engaged in lessons and keep them focused. Flexible seating allows students to feel different in every seat which stimulates different parts of their sensory systems. Flexible seating enhances the environment and provides a homey feel so that kids feel comfortable. With the majority of my students living in poverty and the stress that they have flexible seating reduces stress and allows students to have fun!

About my class
