The use of art materials is a daily occurrence in the art room. Through classes in the arts, students learn practical fine motor skills like cutting, writing, drawing, gluing, and cutting. They also learn creativity, problem solving skills, and even social-emotional skills as they share supplies, work together, and express themselves in their artwork. What becomes a problem is the fact that markers never seem to last, crayons break into tiny pieces, and paintbrushes slowly become worn and hairless from frequent use. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve the quality of art lessons for my students, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Students will be able to learn through the creation of art with exciting materials that develop their skills and creativity, without limitation from a lack of supplies. Please join me in igniting creativity by giving students the creative arts education they deserve!
