My students are very diverse learners and have their own unique needs. In an effort to meet the needs of every child in my class, I plan to incorporate more choices in flexible seating. The surf desks I am hoping to receive through this project will allow students to choose a more non-traditional seat in our classroom where they can feel comfortable, confident, and ready to learn. By encouraging my students to sit where they feel they can learn best I am giving them more independence and accountability for their education and personal progression. These surf desks may just be the ticket for my kids to make the incredible growth we are striving for this year!
