As a STEM school, there are several assignments that students complete using a computer. We have computers in the classroom for students to use, but due to socio-economic standing, not all of our students have access to a computer at home. Therefore, they are at a disadvantage of having access to and completing online assignments. My project's aim is to help remove barriers that inhibit a student's academic success. This project will help create a "check-out" system where computers are loaned to students to complete assignments at home. More so, the project will provide equitable access to educational resources to students that they would not have otherwise.
