A traditional classroom setting does not always provide the best learning environment for all students. Some students learn better from standing during certain times of the day. Other students struggle with sitting still in their seats and provide a safety risk by tipping in their chairs. However, many schools do not provide alternative furniture unless purchased by the teacher. Sometimes it's a simple solution to help students learn. I am hoping to obtain three standing desks with taller stools and five 18 inch stools for a 5th grade classroom. Some of the students in this classroom are struggling with the traditional style of classroom furniture.
