Our district has provided us with some amazing technology resources, however, we do not have enough computers in our classroom to accommodate all of our students. Currently we have five desktops in our classroom, and 24 students that need to access a variety of programs. Students will utilize these Chromebooks to use in the following programs: IXL for reading and math skills, SuccessMaker for math skills and application,Kahn academy for tutorial opportunities in math and language and Accelerated Reader for reading comprehension improvement. Advanced students will also benefit to use these Chromebooks for research projects on various topics. My students requiring extra support will have time to utilize computer based tutoring programs. Technology is and has been the focus in classrooms in the 21st century and Chromebooks are that tool that will open the path for my students.
