All students deserve to have a library filled with books that reflect their cultures and backgrounds. It is my hope to add to our growing collection of books in our classroom to help us open the conversations surrounding race and diversity. The students at our school are deserving of choosing new books of their own to read independently and also hearing the classics read aloud like My Father's Dragon and Charlottes Web. This donation will also contribute to organizational bins and different manipulative tools to help It is my hope to create a love of reading at an early age and believe we can achieve this with a rich library reflective of our classroom's unique needs. In addition to our classroom library, your donation goes to educational games, classroom supplies and all the essentials to get the new year started. In addition, this will add a teachers pay teachers gift certificate to help me afford to get some awesome resources and materials for all kids, regardless of abilities. At our school, 100% of students receive a free lunch and breakfast. Snack time is fully supplied by teachers and your donation would be greatly appreciated to help keep bellies full and brains growing!
