Although working in a Title I charter school has its benefits, it also has its challenges. Most of my students come to school without a backpack and necessary school supplies. Often the arts are cut out of the program but many of my students are unfortunately not given the opportunity to explore through the arts. I want to give my students the same opportunity as others. Every year for Christmas my classroom does an art project and this year my students have chosen to make presents for a nursing home nearby for the holidays. I know and understand that art supplies are not cheap, but anything donated towards their project would be appreciated. Thank you in advance for your support and for helping my students obtain their wish!
