My students come to school with smiles on their faces every day. My students, who face so many challenges in their daily lives, come to school each day prepared to do their best. I am very proud of my students and their perseverance each day. My students have a variety of disabilities including autism, Downes syndrome, non-verbal students, traumatic brain injury, students with tracheotomies and feeding tubes. There is a full-time nurse in my classroom because my students are so medically fragile. I teach in an inner-city high school where supplies are limited. I feel that my students deserve the very best. I can honestly tell you that they love coming to school each day. Please give what you can. Any amount that you can donate will be very much appreciated and allow my students to achieve their dreams.
