The students for the first time are able to have art in their school. We study the seven elements of art as a bases of our projects . We have studied line, shape, and color thus far and are beginning to study texture. So many Mediums can be used or texture but clay gives the best experience. My students will have the opportunity to experience first hand the texture, movement, and methods of clay . This will allow them to create an animal or made- up form. Enhancing their problem solving skills, students will draw a draft of their clay critter or form on paper. Next, they will proceed with the steps to create their clay project. Finally, they will be able to present their project and a brief detail of its creation.
