Using computers is something we may take for granted in our everyday lives. Even our cell phones are small computers. They allow us to look up important information, share about our lives on social media, and see what is going on around the world. Computers in the classroom are a vital part of 21st century education. We need to keep our students not only engaged in the content we are teaching, but technologically literate as well. Many of our students will go on to be computer programmers, software engineers, and more. Preparing them now will help them be successful in high school, college, and the workforce.
