These materials will give my students some of the basic classroom essentials to be successful. Coming from low socioeconomic homes, these children come to school without the school supplies they need. Being prepared for class is the first step toward academic success. I want to be able to give my students the tools they need - pens, pencils, paper, and more. In the past I have had students too embarrassed to say that they didn't have a pencil or paper. I hope that this project will help eliminate any embarrassment a child may feel if they can't bring the necessary supplies to school.

About my class
