All students want to be good readers. All students want to fit in with their peers. All students should feel good about the books they are reading. The students I work with are all on an IEP. Every student I see, struggles with reading. So many of them hate to read because it is too hard or the books given to them are so different from their peers. They just want to look like everyone else when reading independently. I want to have as many choices for my struggling readers as I can. I love to see a kid light up when they have a book they feel confident reading. Please consider helping me add to my classroom library.
