The resources provided through this site will make a world of difference in the lives of my students. My students utilize divergent thinking skills to develop solutions to problems. Each solution varies in approach, making materials and quantity of resources difficult to anticipated. In addition to classroom projects, I foster my student's creativity and technical ability by encouraging enrichment projects. My goal as a teacher is to turn my classroom into a multi-material processing lab where students can find all the resources necessary to innovate solutions that not only have the potential to impact their lives but the lives of others. My students solutions have multiple considerations, functionality, durability, and sustainability, while also focusing on human-centric design factors. In order to prototype innovative solutions, we need an abundance of materials/resources for prototyping effective solutions.
