This project will teach my students the importance and how to appreciate art. These materials will give my students the opportunity to learn to express themselves through art. They will also learn about different cultures and artists. They will understand that just as reading, writing and other subjects, art is another form for expression or communication. This project will give my students an opportunity to use a hands-on approach to express themselves and learn about other cultures. They will have the opportunity to produce a painting and give their own interpretation of piece. I want my students to understand and appreciate the importance of the different art forms.
