I chose these models because it will be a hands-on activity that all 137 of my students can engage in. More than half of students come from low‑income households; in some cases they have moved multiple time and have missed parts of their education in their lower grades. These models will help to catch them up to their grade level. These cell models will make a difference in my students lives as they will learn the information 3 ways, through interactive notes, drawings and then there will cement their knowledge by using the hands-on models of the cells and using their elbow partners to practice.
