Research has shown how sleeping is critical on brain development, especially for this age group. So in Pre-K we have our students do quiet time, where they are able to rest and/or take a nap daily. I have been a teacher at at this school for 8 years and since then we have been using the same mats. Every year I thoroughly clean the mats and label them for my students. But as you can imagine after 8+ years of usage we are in need of new ones. The mats are stained and torn. It wold be great if my students could get new mats to rest on this year!
