My class works hard and takes naps every day. Our current nap mats are old, stained, and torn. My motivation for this request comes from the parent in me. I am a caretaker, and I treat these children as my own. I know that we would all rest easier if we had new mats for our classroom to support the health of our students. Four-year-olds use their minds and bodies all day, going 90 to nothing! After a day of practicing letters, learning to count, paint, play, and working on social skills with peers, they need down time. I would love for them to have a clean vinyl mat, with two different colored sides, one for the floor and one for the child. The vinyl would allow for a soap and water clean, and would help the mats last longer. Please help keep our children learning in a clean environment.
