This will make a difference in my students' learning because they will learn about the experiences of a person's life that they would not be able to experience had they not read the book. We will use this book to argue many current and controversial issues, such as the death penalty and unfairness in the justice system. These are important issues that all humans need to be aware of and to think about where they stand. Hopefully, after reading Just Mercy, we can try as a class to do something to help make a difference in our local or state community!
