These products will assist my student in launching into the real world and help them develop vocational skills. Many of my students have learned to rely heavily on a paraprofessional or other adults to prompt them on what to do. These items will allow me to teach them independent work skills. Additional curriculum gives me more options to teach. My students are very polite and always give me their best. They enjoy learning new things. I am creating individual work box activities, tailored to each student's ability level, that the students can do independently, to help them understand how to follow a task list without adult support. The cash register will provide hands-on money skills, and the velcro and laminating sheets allow me to create the independent work boxes.
