These ballet bars will increase access to the students' abilities learn the North Carolina Standard Course of Study for all levels of dance. Ballet helps with anatomy exploration and is the foundation of all dance styles. When theses bars get to Jordan, we will learn proper implementation of alignment, plies, balance and rotation. These skills are not currently available at the level I would like to teach my students because we do not have access to the proper equipment. My students have expressed interest in learning ballet and I know with these bars their skills will be enhanced and our dance program will be stronger in technique and body knowledge than it has been in previous years.
