Building a classroom with a diverse set of books will help my students stay interested and engaged as they learn to read. My students have read through most of the books I have in my classroom library already. I would love to provide them with more options so they can continue to have their minds grow. Having new books will help my students to stay engaged in reading without getting bored reading the same books repeatedly. I hope to have this project filled so my students can have a wide variety of texts to choose from. We will use these books for silent reading, paired reading, and read-alouds. The books will help the students with literacy, comprehension, fluency, intonation, and sequence of events. Having a large classroom library will be greatly beneficial for my 17 students.
