Purchasing enough Chromebooks will ensure equity in a diverse school and will give English language learners the opportunity to participate fully in the classroom. These Chromebooks will allow students to translate key vocabulary and communicate through translations. In addition, students use Chromebooks as their digital writing notebooks in our integrated ELA/ENL classroom in order for students to receive actionable feedback on the spot, as well as become well-versed 21st century learners. This technology tool will give them the opportunity to be successful in a mainstream classroom where language can sometimes be a barrier for the student. It gives them agency and a powerful tool to be in charge of their learning.

About my class
