All students want to learn through experiences and want to know why they are learning something. Being able to bring real world experiences to students in a classroom will help engage them in learning. We will be learning about life cycles and to help make it more relevant and interesting for students we will be hatching chicks. We will need the incubator to help keep the eggs warm, as the student observe what is happening. The students will keep a daily journal of their observations and making predictions of when they think the eggs will hatch. The students will be able to take responsibility in growing the chicks.
